I feel super blessed to have met so many amazing and supportive friends this past year – it’s like having your very own cheerleaders! Anyways, one such cheerleader invited me to shoot her brother’s engagement party and I was both excited + nervous because I’ve never shot large groups of people before. Here are some of my favorite shots 🙂
All it takes is some dollar store garland, a mirror, sparkler and bubbles – oh yeah and a beautiful model helps too! Was a great afternoon shooting in these gloomy woods. Can’t wait for our next shoot together.

I’ve been at the Blue Door Studio & Retreat in Marshall, NC for a few days now and it’s been such a great experience thus far. It’s amazing being surrounded by people obsessed with photography and philosophy. I’m looking forward to learning about cyanotypes, large format photography, digital negatives, etc.
